Course Format

The Diploma in E.C.C.Ed uses the VAK (Visual-Auditory-Kinaesthetic) learning style. Hence along with the theory there are a lot of hands on work to be done. Thus there is an Internship, along with Quizzes, Assignments and Practical Work.

The approach to learning is based on AOP (Action Oriented Program). This program transforms the theory into practice through video based lectures, examples, samples and photographic representations along with planned field experiences that give the student a robust exposure to the professional needs of their chosen field of study. The extended readings on current researches, articles and videos of early childhood education settings and approaches enhance the student’s understanding of the given subject matter.

Student Engagements

Student interaction with faculty and other students is an essential characteristic and is facilitated through variety of ways, including discussion forums and e-mails. These sessions would help the student to express themselves, question themselves, evaluate their perspectives and eventually lead to higher levels of thought processes.

Constructive feedback would be given to the student assignments and questions in a timely manner and they would also be instructed in the proper methods of effective research, including assessing their own work.
